Good Book

This is a great story and shows how Lucy has grown up, even if she didn't really want to. She is still a little selfish and greedy but I think she has learned that there is more in life than spending daddy's money. The relationships that she has with her family, friend and boyfriend are well rounded and open. I hope there is another book to this because the ending was a little disappointing. I was hoping for more. I want Delia out of the picture for good and who ever this mysterious woman with powers is.

The story line was great. i loved the first book, the second book goes into explaining some of the past. i was eager to read the third to finally know what happens. to find out there is no date to when the third will be released the end of this book left you with many questions as to what is this evil entity? what is really going on with Lucy Hart? and of course what will happen next

Just so much fun!

Lucy cracks me up. This time she's finding out more and more about her awesome best friend, Abbey, her family to be and we get more glimpses into other family members as well as lifestyles of the vapid and deadly. Lots going on what with everyone seemingly out to kill our young miss, all while she's just trying to spend time with Gabriel. Not sure how I feel about the ending yet, will be looking forward to seeing what's going to happen next with them all but have a bit of a cliffhanger with Gabriel and her, heavy sigh. I am not a fan of waiting. HINT HINT! Otherwise, an engaging little read that had plenty of action and interesting magic and revelations.

About the Author
Hartmut Fischer studied natural sciences in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology at the Julius Maximilian University of W�rzburg/Bavaria, Germany. He then spent a number of years as a research scientist for major pharmaceutical companies. He worked on a German Research Foundation project, developing chiral syntheses, at the Institute for Organic Chemistry at the University of W�rzburg, and spent a number of years working on development and application methods in water preparation. At one point he felt compelled to follow a calling to become an alternative health practitioner. Along the way he also volunteered for the emergency medical service in the adult education department of the Bavarian Red Cross, and he trained as a hospice carer in Fulda. His patients benefit enormously from his wealth of knowledge and experience, and he passes on his expertise by teaching on training courses for prospective alternative health practitioners and courses on DMSO and MMS use.

Sulfur compounds are found in all body cells and are indispensable for life, they are needed for a number of chemical reactions involved in the detoxification of drugs and other harmful toxins, and they have potential clinical applications in the treatment of a number of conditions such as depression, fibromyalgia, arthritis, interstitial cystitis, athletic injuries, congestive heart failure, diabetes, cancer, and AIDS (Parcell, 2002). Among the sulfur compounds, DMSO is probably the one that has the widest range and greatest number of therapeutic applications ever shown for any other single chemical. It has around 40 pharmacological properties that may be beneficial in the prevention, relief or reversal of numerous diseases (Morton, 1993)." Please note that reads "40 pharmacological PROPERTIES" meaning that each property would have multiple applications . . . and that is is just what we know so far. It's usefulness is truly phenomenal.

This book does an excellent job of covering current understanding (Published December 17, 2015) of this organic solvent's ubiquitous uses. It opens with sections on the Physical, Chemical and Pharmacological properties to lay a foundation of understanding of how and why it works the way it does. Then the book covers various therapies used by doctors, holistic practitioners and the like. Some of these techniques should only be used by qualified Doctors (Intravenous techniques for example) while most others are simple and easy to use for the layperson. There are about 100 pages devoted to various ailments that have responded to DMSO therapy. Also sections on DMSO for animals, supply sources, dosing overview.

Also on Amazon there is an excellent product of 1 gallon of 99.995% DMSO for around $37. It is so pure it lessens the garlic taste when you apply it in my experience.

The best, most scientific reference book on DMSO I've found.

This is arguably the most complete and scientifically rich book on DMSO I've ever seen. It references the best refereed studies and doesn't fall into the "warm and fuzzy, drum circle" kind of anecdotal recommendations you often find in DMSO literature. Aside from research white papers, I consider it the closest thing to the "encyclopedia of DMSO" that Dr. Jacob had planned to compile.

About the Author
PETER AUGHTON was born in Southport and educated at King George V School. He has always been fascinated by the great city of Liverpool and his earliest memories are of the Mersey ferries, the Overhead Railway and the shipping, the trams and the post war bomb sites. Peter has been a member of the Liverpool and District Family History Society for many years and he still gives occasional talks to the society. He is a lecturer at the University of the West of England, and his career includes twelve years in the aerospace industry.

Quite Readable History

Liverpool: A People's History by Peter Aughton is a very readable and enjoyable history of the English city which grew from a tiny fishing village to become recently named the European Capital of Culture! The author makes the history of this little town on the Mersey River come alive as he uses excellent research to trace the history and grown until it became a city thriving in 1207 with its major seaport. It survived the horrors of the slave trade, built the world's very first pulic railway, and in the 18th century was a fashionable spa. But then t he major slump came when millions departed for a better way of life in the New World. But regrowth came in the next century and today this is a very special city with a unique history. Even if you are not a Brit, you'll enjoy this book and want to visit there.

The book has led the field of strategic management for more than a decade in providing an applications/practitioner approach to the discipline. A native of Whiteville, North Carolina, Fred R. David received a B.S. degree in Mathematics and an MBA from Wake Forest University before being employed as a bank manager with United Carolina Bank. He received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina where he majored in Management.Currently, the TranSouth Professor of Strategic Management at Francis Marion University (FMU) in Florence, South Carolina, Dr. David has also taught at Auburn University, Mississippi State University, East Carolina University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is the author of 150 referred publications, including 39 journal articles, 53 Proceedings publications, and 58 business policy cases. David has articles published in such journals as "Academy of Management Review," "Academy of Management Executive," "Journal of Applied Psychology," "Long Range Planning," and "Advanced Management Journal," He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the "Advanced Management Journal," Dr. David has received a Lifetime Honorary Professorship Award from the Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru. He delivered the keynote speech at the twenty-first Annual Latin American Congress on Strategy hosted by the Centrum School of Business in Peru. Dr. David recently delivered an eight-hour Strategic Planning Workshop to the faculty at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Del in Lima, Peru, and an eight-hour Case Writing/Analyzing Workshop to the faculty at Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah. He has received numerous awards, including FMU's Board of Trustees Research Scholar Award, and the university's Award for Excellence in Research given annually to the best faculty researcher on campus, and the Phil Carroll Advancement of Management Award, given annually by the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) to a management scholar for outstanding contributions in management research. David served for three years on the Southern Management Association'sBoard of Directors Through his Web site, www.checkmateplan.com, Dr. David actively assists businesses across the country and around the world in doing strategic planning. He has developed and markets the CheckMATE Strategic Planning Software, which is an industry-leading business planning software package (www.checkmateplan.com).

Sater Design's Ultimate Home Plans Book

Form those who are familiar with Dan's work, it will be no surprise that this book is absolutely beautiful. It has over 150 home plans, many are on his earlier luxury plans book, but it seems over a third of them are new to this book. I really love the section featuring small luxury homes as I don't want a large home so much as a richly detailed one. As usual the photography is fabulous. I really am enjoying this book.
