This co-authored book is by two very creative up-and-coming scholars who take the lens of identity as a way to discuss both the traditional aspects of sociolinguistics and various topics that others have not included under sociolinguistics. There are various suggestions for exercises. I recommend this as a textbook for undergraduates and M.A. students, and as a Professor I've also learned a lot from it.

Liked the instructional tenor of the book. There is a plethora of literature on web on JMeter. This book neatly compiles all the relevant details in a linear 'easy to relate and connect' narrative. The chapter on distributed testing is good. Suggest you add some examples on how to launch distributed testing from an EC2 cloud nodes. A set of ready to use public images for EC2 will help further - will rate 5 after you have done so.

This is not a 5 star publication. There is a lot of missing information. Other reviews are inaccurate. I did not expect a lot for $19, but I am returning my copy of the book. I can only assume that the lack of publisher info on or in the book means that it is self-published which as a writer I always want to support, but this book was an insult to my experience as a 30 year veteran of software development and QA.

I have never seen kids more interested in learning then when they are with Mr. C! The students are always engaged because his stories are so funny and the kids can't wait to hear (and see) what happens next. The best part is that they're learning sign language at the same time! And the stories provide a great way for the kids to remember the signs they are being taught!

Mr. C is fantastic with kids, his stories are engaging and fun! He teaches sign language to the kids that they sing and quote even after he's left. All day we hear them saying things like: "8 is great, let's celebrate!" or "Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter, wash your face with Peanut Butter!"
