Liked the instructional tenor of the book

Liked the instructional tenor of the book. There is a plethora of literature on web on JMeter. This book neatly compiles all the relevant details in a linear 'easy to relate and connect' narrative. The chapter on distributed testing is good. Suggest you add some examples on how to launch distributed testing from an EC2 cloud nodes. A set of ready to use public images for EC2 will help further - will rate 5 after you have done so.

Save your money

This is not a 5 star publication. There is a lot of missing information. Other reviews are inaccurate. I did not expect a lot for $19, but I am returning my copy of the book. I can only assume that the lack of publisher info on or in the book means that it is self-published which as a writer I always want to support, but this book was an insult to my experience as a 30 year veteran of software development and QA.

Excellent book to quickly ramp up on testing with JMeter

Testing with JMeter is a great book with detailed instructions in getting up to speed with JMeter. In addition to giving an overview of JMeter and its functionality, The book has tons of in-depth examples and includes a case study which helps readers to quickly start using JMeter for testing websites. The writing in this book is very clear and illustrated with numerous screenshots so that everyone can understand easily.
I found the book very useful and encourage all who are interested in web testing to take a look at this book.
